Windsor is centered between Santa Rosa and Healdsburg.  Windsor has a very interesting history as for years it lacked a true downtown area, but finally raised the funds to completely rebuild the downtown area. Now Windsor has a robust downtown with parks, walkways, and an abundance of commercial space.

Windsor offers more than 40 free public celebrations and festivals year around, plus excellent schools, superb parks, recreational venues and historic sites along with a wide range of interesting places to tour, explore and have a lot of fun!

Healdsburg is truly the center of the Sonoma food and wine revolution.   You can simply park your car and walk to dozens of restaurants, tasting rooms, superb hotels, and a fantastic array of bars. Healdsburg has also focused on becoming the arts center for the county and offers music, film, and art festivals.

The little neighborhoods that surround downtown Healdsburg are home to perfect examples of the Bungalow arts and crafts movement as well as historic Victorian style mansions.   In the hills that surround Healdsburg you can find some of the finest examples of ranch homes.  Because of its slightly warmer climate, Healdsburg homes often employ extensive outdoor living spaces full of sunlight and warmth.
