Although Santa Rosa is only 55 miles north of San Francisco, its a completely unique city. Santa Rosa extends from the vine covered hillsides to the expanse of shopping centers and commercial districts. Santa Rosa has sections of the city that are home to older developments with classic designs as well as new modern designs stretching east towards Napa.
Sebastopol sits on the edge of the coastal hills and is the center of a rich agricultural heritage. From Sebastopol its only 25 minutes to the Pacific coast. Because of its proximity to the ocean, the temperatures and precipitation patterns are ideal for vineyards. Sebastopol is well known for architectural elements drawn from the Bungalow arts and crafts movement as well as the more traditional rustic farm style. Many people are drawn to the Sebastopol area as the culture tends to be casual and relaxed with an emphasis on food and wine.
Sebastopol is home to Black Oak Builders and we are involved with the local community both through our business and our families.
